To provide an advisory liaison for the builder and associate members of this association.
Purpose:
To assist with the communication of information between all members of the association
To provide association with updated industry news
To offer educational opportunities to members
To network with other members and creating avenues to expand business
Membership:
Open to all interested associate and builder members of the HBA.
Chairman:
Annually appointed by the HBA president.
Responsibilities:
To meet monthly.
To plan and implement events designed to enhance the business opportunities and knowledge of members.
To study and make recommendations to the Executive Board and the Board of Directors on issues of concern to this committee.
To ensure that the chairperson attends the monthly meetings for the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem’s Board of Directors.
To encourage the chairperson to attend the quarterly meetings of the North Carolina Home Builders Association.
To conduct activities in accordance with the mission of the council (i.e., Associate Guest Column, Associate Product Night, Builder Panels, Speed Meets, Educational training, and Professional Educational opportunities with NAHB & NCHBA – for Builders & Associates).
To accomplish those tasks identified in the association’s strategic plan as being the responsibility of the committee.
To provide quarterly committee reports to the Board of Directors (notice will be given on the due dates for the reports).
Encourage and promote – “Do business with a member.”
